  1. My ex-girlfriend realized that she identified as female while she was dating me. It was really awkward for me to call her my girlfriend and such since I am a straight female and we eventually broke up for a different reason, however I did break up with her once just because her gender identity made me feel uncomfortable (and went back to my idiot-of-an ex-boyfriend because he said that he wanted me back and I just thought it was an easy way out of my uncomfortable situation... it was a REALLY bad decision). I eventually decided that I'm attracted to the male sex and gender doesn't matter to me, so as long as she didn't change her gender, I could deal with it. I'm curious to hear your thoughts on that sort of situation.

  2. Hi Nick, I saw your blog post on your "queer life story" I've always been a very girly-girl but also identify as bisexual. I've always been accepted by friends and have been moderately popular and well accepted at school. People don't really understand the difference between gender identity and sexuality though and that infuriates me! Anyway, your story really spoke to me and I'm glad you are in a better place now!
